Welcome of the UEG President, Mr Georges GUELZEC
In the name of the European Union of Gymnastics and its delegates who are present in Varna, I welcome all the athletes of the European countries participating in the European Championships for juniors and seniors and the European Age Group Games in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
Without any doubt, the warm hospitality of the Bulgarian population and the fantastic public will ensure a special atmosphere during the competitions.
I would like to extend my thanks to the Organising Committee and to all the volunteers who have worked with immense commitment during the past months.
I address my sincere gratitude to the Gymnastics Federation of Bulgaria for the tremendous work accomplished and I wish to all athletes and federations present to live exciting competitions and a lot of success for these European Championships.
